• Boys: T-shirt & sport shorts, bodysuit
• Girls: Bodysuits, shorts or long tights, fitted or tucked in shirt
• Hair: Hair that can reach the eyes must be tied back

Special Considerations
• Cuts, warts or any open sores must be bandaged before class
• Absolutely no jeans or jewelry (except stud earrings)
• No clothes with snaps, buckles or other bulky objects may be worn during class
• Participants wearing inappropriate attire will be asked to change or may not be allowed to participate for safety reason
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
For classes 2 hours or less in duration we do not stop for snack break; however, water breaks are offered as needed. Please ensure to send a water bottle clearly labelled with your child’s name to each class. Water bottles should be filled with WATER ONLY. Carbonated drinks and sugary juices can contribute to dehydration.

PROGRESS REPORTS
At the end of each Session, gymnasts will receive a Progress Report. These are not pass or fail. These are completed to simply track your child’s progress and ensure they are placed in the appropriate group. Your child will develop improved self confidence as they acquire new skills and are rewarded with a report at the end of each term to mark their accomplishments.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP
Parents, family and friends are all welcome to stay and watch your gymnast from our viewing areas. Gymnasts 5 years and younger are required to have one parent remain in the facility for their duration of their class. For classes aged 6 and older, there is also the option to drop off your gymnast and return once class is done. Please let your gymnasts’ coach know if you will be dropping off. At pickup time gymnasts will not be allowed to leave the gym unless accompanied by a parent.
Parents/Viewers must fulfill the following criteria.
They must remain in the viewing area only.
They may not wander around the facility.
They may not enter the gym (Unless parent involvement is required (i.e. Parent & Tot or Transition Tots)
They must leave with their athlete.
SAFETY FIRST
The best interest of every child is our first priority. Please understand that in order to adhere to this, we reserve the right to remove any participant from our programs that may hinder their own development or the development of the other children in our facility by way of their inappropriate behavior. Our hope is that everyone fully enjoys the time they spend in our facility.
FEEDBACK
Here at Mapleton Gymnastics we know that there is always more that we can learn and improve on. We want our gymnasts to have the absolute best time in our classes, at Birthdays and during Drop Ins. Our coaches always aim to follow 3 Golden Rules to ensure everyone is having fun and staying safe.
1. Feedback After Every Turn: Positive, constructive or both. We want our gymnasts to have fun, but also learn and improve.
2. Engaged & Ready: Standing or kneeling, hands out, ready to catch or spot.
3. FUNdaments: Not only asking to do a skill, but teaching how to do it properly with the right positioning. This allows our gymnasts to progress onto bigger skills, safely and cleanly.
So that we are always improving to create the most valuable experience for you and your littles, we always welcome feedback. If anyone has anything they’d like to see done differently, would like to keep as is, etc, please let us know by filling out this feedback form located here. Any feedback you give would be greatly appreciated.
Also, it’s completely anonymous, so don’t hold back
